:Just FYI the RL system will not make your ET's, I have plenty of 13+ second runs w/the Racelogic and same mods. Basically the driver still has to do some work to get good ET's but it does make things a bit easier. For example, on street tires, no matter how hard I try, I can't break 13.4-13.5 sec in the 1/4 mile because I slip all the way through first, some in second, and a tad in third when the traction control unit is off. I think that trying to modulate the gas to reduce the slipping would be next to impossible with my bigger turbos (since boost ramps up so quickly once it kicks in). With the traction control unit turned on (still on street tires) I can get consistent high 12's, which I think is pretty much the best that anyone can do on street tires. So, basically the unit lets you use your tires to their maximum potential. For example, if you use street tires and they're always going to slip at say 400hp then the unit will limit you to 400hp... but if you use drag radials, and they won't slip until 600hp, then the unit will let you use 600hp. So, a stage III Z may not see as much benefit as a stage XII Z, but it would still see some benefit. But, I agree with you 100% when you say that the driver has a lot to do with it still. I'm probably just an average driver, but the unit lets me drive like a pro. But, if you already drive like a pro, the unit may not help that much.
